A family vacation at Beaches Turks and Caicos is filled with experiences that you will want to remember long after you return home. Between the turquoise water, soft white sand and time spent together, it is the perfect opportunity to update your family photographs.

Our husband-and-wife photography team works with many families staying at Beaches Turks and Caicos. We make the process easy by meeting you at a nearby public beach access before beginning your session along the beautiful shores of Grace Bay Beach.

You do not need to travel across the island or spend hours away from your resort. We will provide clear meeting instructions and guide your family through the entire photoshoot.

Can We Do a Photoshoot While Staying at Beaches Turks and Caicos?

Yes. Families staying at Beaches Turks and Caicos can arrange a professional photoshoot on the public section of Grace Bay Beach.

The resort itself is private property, so we do not meet guests inside the resort or use its private pools, buildings or pathways. Instead, we meet your family at an agreed public beach access near the resort.

The Turks and Caicos Islands National Beach Access Policy states that the beaches are public places open for everyone’s use and recognizes the public’s right of access to and along the beaches and shorelines.

Once we meet, we walk onto Grace Bay Beach together and begin your session.

How Our Beaches Turks and Caicos Photoshoot Process Works

1. Book Your Family Photoshoot

The first step is reserving your preferred date and photography package.

Because sunset sessions are limited, we recommend booking your Turks and Caicos family photoshoot before arriving on the island. Holiday periods, spring break and summer travel dates can become especially busy.

When contacting us, let us know:

  • How many people will be photographed

  • The ages of your children

  • Your arrival and departure dates

  • Whether you prefer a morning or sunset session

  • Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or family reunion

This information helps us plan the best possible experience for your family.

2. We Send You the Public Beach Access Location

Before the session, we will send you the exact meeting point and simple directions from Beaches Turks and Caicos.

You will not need to search for us inside the resort. We meet directly at the designated public beach access, which allows us to enter Grace Bay Beach without crossing through the resort’s private property.

We recommend arriving approximately five to ten minutes early so your family can get settled without feeling rushed.

3. We Begin With Full-Family Portraits

Once everyone is ready, we usually begin with a few full-family portraits while the children are still fresh and comfortable.

From there, we photograph different family combinations, including:

  • The entire family

  • Parents with their children

  • Individual portraits of each child

  • Siblings together

  • Mom with the children

  • Dad with the children

  • Parents as a couple

  • Grandparents with grandchildren

  • Extended-family groupings

You do not need to know how to pose. We guide you throughout the photoshoot, including where to stand, what to do with your hands and how to interact naturally.

A Relaxed Experience for Children

Family photos should not feel like a stressful school picture day.

Children are encouraged to move, laugh and enjoy the beach. We may ask your family to walk together, hold hands, play near the shoreline or run through the sand.

When younger children need a short break, we simply move on to another family combination and return to them when they are ready. We do not expect every child to stand still and smile perfectly throughout the entire session.

Some of the best photographs happen while your children are playing and being themselves.

During your photoshoot, we can use several natural backgrounds without moving to another location, including:

The hour before sunset is our most requested time for family photography.

The sunlight becomes softer and more flattering, the temperature is usually more comfortable, and the sky may develop beautiful golden or pastel tones.

Your exact meeting time will depend on the sunset time during your travel dates. We will confirm the correct start time before your session.

Sunset sessions are particularly suitable for families with older children who are comfortable staying awake later in the evening.

Early-Morning Family Photoshoots

Morning sessions are an excellent option for families with babies or younger children who wake up early.

Children are often more rested in the morning, and the beach may be quieter than it is later in the day. Morning sunlight also helps bring out the bright turquoise color of the water.

We normally recommend starting early, before the midday sun becomes too hot and intense.

Your family does not need to wear identical outfits. Coordinating your colors usually creates a more natural and timeless appearance.

Can We Take Photographs in the Water?
